This Isn’t Just Another ‘Dog Shoots Hunter’ Story

With the NH Waterfowl Hunting Season well underway, here's a story out of Indiana that will illustrate the importance for Hunter Safety Courses. Oh, and you won't believe the name of the dog either.

Allie Carter of Indiana sustained a gunshot wound while hunting with her dog 'Trigger'. Yes, 'Trigger' stepped on the loaded 12 gauge as Ms. Carter had placed it on the ground.

Video news about this incident is still scarce at the time of publishing, however CNN has a piece on this remarkable cautionary tale about a very aptly named dog.

Allie Carter suffered injuries to her left foot and toes but has since been released from the hospital.
