Vacation Is Over

My vacation is over.  I was off for 9 glorious days in a row.  I think I gained thirty pounds just from eating Christmas cookies.  Oh how vacation changes when you have a child!  No more staying up late, no more sleeping in.  You can't just do what you want, when you want to do it--not anymore, those days are over!  However, this vacation was extra special because it was my daughter's first Christmas, and I got to spend the entire time with her.  My wife was off for a bit too, so the whole family was together for the holidays.  We went to my parents house on Christmas eve, then we went to my in-laws on Christmas day, and then we spent Christmas evening at our house.  We basically celebrated Christmas three times.  My daughter loved it, she was smiling and laughing the entire time.
