End 68 Hours of Hunger is one of our favorite non-profit organizations.

Their mission is to feed at-risk children confronting the 68 hours of hunger that many students face during the weekends. They are completely volunteer based.

As part of it's O'Neil Cinemas Cares program, the location in Brickyard Square will be collecting items that will be donated to End 68 Hours of Hunger from now until Sunday, Aug 28.

Items that are high on the list of needs include peanut butter, 18 oz. plastic; jelly, 20 oz. squeezable containers; mayonnaise, 12 oz, squeezable containers; canned pasta, beefaroni, ravioli, spaghetti; canned marinara; canned soup, 12-20 oz. size; canned fruit, 3-4 serving size; granola bars/nutrition bars; tuna or chicken, 10 oz. or smaller cans; instant oatmeal; and Swiss Miss cocoa mix.

You can bring an item or items to O’Neil Cinemas’ concession stand, give an email address and receive a discount: a $1 off your movie and a kids size popcorn/drink for $5.

Those wishing to donate food items for the End 68 Hours of Hunger food drive at O’Neil Cinemas can bring in items any time during hours of operation.
