Eww.  Zombies are gross and, just a reminder, completely and totally not real.

Remember in September of 2022 when this episode of Tales of the Walking Dead, Season 1, episode 5 ran?  The setting was in Madawaska, Maine, according to Vulture.com.

The episode is dark and the lead character is being called a Murderer by a group of people who clearly want to kill him.

Lost Memory in Madawaska Maine

The main character had no memory of how he got there in the first place and has to piece together memories in his mind that keep flashing throughout the episode.

The setting, although it's in Maine, just looks dark and there's nothing in it that we would exclaim, "Hey, Maine!"  It's all just dark, foggy and lots of woods.

I guess it's one of those shows that you just can't look away from, you know?  I know I couldn't.  (That's a lie... I watch these shows with one eyed closed and the other one barely open.)  There was a scene where the main character cuts off an arm quite easily.  Gross.

If there were actually Zombies in Maine, they would be wearing bean boots, hats and a lot more flannel and less long black coats.  They certainly wouldn't be running around screaming murderer.

According to the IMDB, Tales of the Walking Dead only had 1 Season.  There are several other spinoff's that were more popular, but Tales, just had one.  Maybe if they had more lobster and less .... zombies, it would have done better.
