Red Rock Canyon is just a few miles West of Las Vegas and I can't imagine anyone disliking the majestic views of one of my favorite places on planet earth.
I'll be hitting the road for my 22nd trip to Las Vegas, Nevada in a matter of hours. People always ask me 'Why do you go there so much?". And believe it or not, the scantily clad showgirls and buffets aren't the number one reason.

After six days of lackluster gaming and 4 hours on a plane to Baltimore, I saw a slightly hidden electrical outlet behind a row of chairs at Gate B9 in BWI. Since my phone hadn't been charged in quite awhile, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to do so and little did I know how right I was.
The Kansas City Royals won their first pennant in almost 30 years. Who would have thunk it? Not only did one of my friends thunk it, he put $20 on it and now I'm a few hours away from cashing it in at Orleans Hotel and Casino.

I've tried a few of the Vegas 99 cent shrimp cocktail varieties and though they were fresh and delicious, they were tiny and a bit over sauced. My favorite in the entire city can be found at The Golden Gate Casino, which is located Downtown.
