
2 More Specific Locations of New Hampshire Rite Aid Closings Announced
Rite Aid has announced it is going to close 48 locations in New Hampshire, according to newsweek.
Out of those 48, there are 5 that the company has specifically announced as closing.
The article goes on to say that Rite Aid has ended all pharmacy operations ahead of the closures. They have transferred prescriptions to competitors like CVS and Walgreens, sometimes without input from the patients themselves.
Three Rite Aid Locations Specified
Around May 7, 2025, three New Hampshire locations were specified to close, according to wwlp.com:
- 19 Wilton Road, Suite 1A, Peterborough
- 354 Winchester Street, Keene
- 75 Portsmouth Avenue, Unit 1, Exeter
Two More Specific NH Locations Announced
Around May 13, 2025, two more specific locations were announced, according to usatoday.com.
- 360 Summer Street, Bristol, NH
- 41 Carroll Street, Pittsfield, NH
According to Rite Aid's website, they will no longer be accepting Rewards points. Also, they will not be honoring Rite Aid Gift Cards or accept any return or exchange as of June 5, 2025.

I might suggest calling a neighbor or a friend instead of calling the 800 number. Although I'm sure they have good intentions, they are probably not going to know New Hampshire at all.
Maybe post questions on your town's Facebook page instead of the 800 number. Not that I am anti-800 number, but... if the company is closing it's doors, wouldn't you trust your neighbor or friend just a wee bit more?
