593,088 Inhalers Recalled

The company has announced a voluntarily recall of inhalers due to a possible defect.

GlaxoSmithKline Ventolin HFA inhalers were apparently leaking at a quicker rate than required specifications.

According to a report by the FDA, the affected inhalers include lot 6ZP9848 with an expiration date of March 18, and lots 6ZP0003 and 6ZP9944 with an expiration date of April 18.

Customers are not being instructed to return the inhalers, because the defect does not pose a danger,
