Amazing Hampton Man Giving Away New Sneakers To Families in Need
According to a story from Seacoastonline, Jeremiah Pasternak, owner of Pasternak Antiques in Hampton is giving away a lot of sneakers for the holidays.
Jeremiah spends his own money to buy almost 100 pairs of new sneakers, all ranging in brands and sizes. Through word of mouth and social media, he is able to distribute each pair to kids and families in need well before Christmas.
In the article, he said,
I encourage anybody, if you know someone struggling, homeless, a foster kid, anyone who could use something a little special, contact me
Jeremiah, who graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, started his now-annual holiday giveaway a few years ago after his father died. He said that when he was growing up, his father did so much for kids that he went to school with and now, since he doesn't have kids of his own, he's decided to pay it forward.
Jeremiah does have one special pair of "Back to the Future" sneakers for anyone who donates 20 or more canned goods before Christmas to be donated to local charities and food banks.
This guy is amazing! Just ONE PERSON can make such a big difference!
