The Blue Mermaid Island Grill is getting ready to re-open at 10 Shapleigh Road in Kittery in November.

The owners, Scott Logan and wife Karen will also be operating a food truck in addition to the restaurant.

According to seacoastonline .com

Scott Logan, who owns and operates the restaurant with his wife, Karen, said they will also open a food truck to operate in front of Tributary Brewing Co. next door, as well as at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during lunch hours.

Logan said the food truck -- pending a permit approval from the Kittery Town Council, which was set to review it Monday night -- will operate during Tributary’s tasting room hours, which he said will be from noon-8 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Tributary does not serve food, he said.

The new food truck, when parked in front of Tributary, will serve what Logan called a “four-item menu” of quarter-pound hot dogs (with special salsas and sauces), burgers, tacos and burritos.

I can't wait for them to re-open, as I miss their menu, and would love to check out the food truck!
