According to an article by the AP, Anheuser-Busch says the famed Budweiser Clydesdales will no longer train in the Granite State. The brewing company says the horse training facility at the Merrimack brewery is being relocated.

Anheuser-Busch Corporate Communications Director Samantha Roth tells WMUR-TV that the move will allow the training team to be closer to young Clydesdales and begin training earlier.

There is some good news however. The east coast team of horses, will remain in Merrimack, so you and the kids will still get to see these beautiful, magnificent and iconic creatures.

I saw these majestic horses proudly gallop down the streets of Portsmouth about twenty years ago and it was very thrilling!

In fact I still have the keychain/bottle opener that the Hostlers were handing out that hot summer day, and it still works great!

I'm glad that they will still have an east coast team.
