Concord’s New Zoo Will Be…In The Steeplegate Mall?

New Hampshire's capital will be the latest location for a health club chain.

Just in time for spring, a new gym will pop up in one of the Steeplegate Mall's largest spaces. According to the Concord Monitor, after weeks of teasing, the Zoo Gym will be coming to Concord. With locations already in Derry and Manchester, franchise owner Julian Pecorino told the Monitor in a recent interview that it will be an all inclusive gym, meaning The Zoo will offer classes, cardio and weight-training in one location.

Don't let the location fool you. The Zoo will fill a space formerly occupied by Bon Ton. The Steeplegate Mall has been looking to fill the empty space since the company announced it would be closing its 40-something stores after filing for bankruptcy.

A few perks of the new gym will be round the clock access, and also childcare at no additional cost, according to the Concord Monitor.
