All Aboard! New Hampshire’s Santa’s Holiday Express Train Starts This Month

The Conway Scenic Railroad is one of the gems of New Hampshire.  Not only does it take you all the way up to Mount Washington at various times of year, but it brings you right to Santa's workshop in the White Mountains!

You and your family will ride in a beautifully decorated Vintage train car where elves will greet you and entertain you and your family.  Cookies and cocoa will be served as an extra special treat.

New Hampshire Train Riders Will Be Greeted by Santa Himself

It's true that Santa is absolute magic. He has a workshop in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and knows when you will be coming to see him!  So, while you are enjoying your cookies and cocoa, he will be waiting for you.  The train ride will take about an hour and 20 minutes, so you'll have to be patient, but it is worth it!

The train rides begin on November 28, 2025.

You should get your tickets early because the trains sell out and are only offered for a few days in the Month of December.  You have to understand, Santa and Mrs. Claus are extremely busy this time of year getting all of your presents together, but, if you book your tickets they will make time for you.

There are some rules, however, that you should know before you go.  For example, you can't bring your own food on the train.  They have cookies and cocoa for you and other yummy treats for sale on the train.

Tickets range from free for infants, $21 for children and up for adults.  It is an unforgettable experience your family will not soon forget.

The Conway Scenic Railroad is located at 38 Norcross Circle, North Conway, NH.  Approximately 1 hour, 45 minutes from Portsmouth and about an hour and a half from Portland, Maine
