New England Patriots fired offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo on Monday following the team's loss to the Broncos in the AFC Championship game.

According to ProFootballTalk, the team made the announcement Monday night.

You have to give the man a little credit with the hand he was dealt this year. Young, inexperienced players and a slew of injuries lead to shuffling of positions all season long, and even in the middle of games. The team still won the division posting a 12-4 record.

That being said, you have to be held accountable for what transpired in the AFC Championship game. Brady was hit more times in that game than any other player all season long. That stat is crazy, and inexcusable.

Sad to see the man go after only being with the team since 2014, but if you don't 'do your job' you aren't fit to be in New England under Coach Belichick.
