Driver Faces Charges After Rochester Accident

(Rochester, NH) - Rochester Police have charged a Somersworth woman with several offenses after her car struck a tree Thursday morning.

30 year old Samantha Norton of Somersworth was driving on Blackwater Road in Rochester just before 10 am and attempted to pass another vehicle when her car left the road, hitting a fence, a rock and a tree.

Norton and a passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Rochester Police charged Norton with Operating After Suspension, Operating An Unregistered Vehicle and Reckless Operation.
