Drought Conditions Here in NH Jumps Dramatically This Week

Man, do we need rain or what?!

According to a story from WMUR, NH has not received any rain this week, making the drought conditions jump from 28.31% to 72.39%!  The area stretching from south-central and southeast NH, through the Lakes Region, the White Mountain and nearly all of the North Country.

The forecast doesn't call for any significant rain for at least another 7 days.

Every night, when I go home, I turn on the hose and give my trees a drink of water.  I just planted some hydrangea in the yard this year and the poor thing is not doing well.  I am hopeful it will survive with the lack of rain we've had.

Come on Mother Nature!  Give us a good soak!
