Early March Could Be “Snowiest” Part of Winter for New Hampshire
People in New Hampshire have had some "nice" temperatures over the past few days, (above freezing) but it looks like early March could be one of the snowiest of the Winter season.
New Hampshire Finally Had a Typical Winter
Although the cold snap that we had this winter wasn't fun to live through, it was kind of nice to have a normal winter. When I say "normal," I mean the temperatures being so cold that your face freezes.
It hasn't been like that the past few years. With all the warm weather that we've had in the Winter months, I have been happy to see all the snow and the frigid cold. I never thought I would say that.

With all the talk of global climate change, it was nice to get a few inches here and there.
There is Predicted Snow in March for the Northeast
According to the almanac.com, the Northeast may experience the "snowiest" part of the Winter in early March.
Remember the Blizzard of '78?
So far, the almanac has been pretty on point. They also predicted a lot of snow in February. Lo and behold, we got more than a foot of snow right around the middle of February.
Even with this predicted snow in March, the Almanac does say that it will still be 1 to 1 1/2% slightly below normal.
That makes total sense to me. I remember the days of building igloos in my yard all winter long. It hasn't been like that this year, but it sure did feel like we were getting close.
