Fairs Are Uniquely American, and This One in NH Is Right on the Water

Yes fairs and festivals happen all over the world, but there is simply something charming, quaint and uniquely American about those that take place in each of the 50 United States.

From CA's Big Fun state fair featuring a full size water park to nearby CT's Durham Fair, which focuses on agriculture, to Tupelo Elvis festival in MS (yes, that's where the King of Rock N Roll was born), there are some odd and delightful experiences to take in.

According to our friends at Reader's Digest, the best fair in NH is the Master Sand Sculpting Classic on Hampton Beach.

And because its Hampton Beach, you know the event always culminates with fireworks over the beach.

By the way, in Massachusetts The Big E takes the best in state, and for ME, it's the Bangor State Fair.
