PSYCH! Farr’s Famous Chicken, Hampton Beach, New Hampshire is NOT closing
Amazing news for Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
Farr's Famous Chicken is coming back! According to Farr's Facebook page, the iconic chicken place is going to be part of JB's on the Boardwalk.

Paul & Judy Conway owned Farr's Famous Chicken for 10 years. They wanted to spend time with their family and who can blame them for that.
What we didn't know when we were crying in our sweet & sour sauce was that Jimmy, Bobby and Traci of JB's on the Boardwalk on Hampton Beach had been friends with Paul and Judy for years and they share the same vision for business.
Lucky for us, Farr's is going to become part of the JB Family!
From a customer's point of view, we won't even notice that Farr's potentially was not coming back. It was here in 2024 and it will be here in 2025.
I get the idea that Hampton Beach restaurants, although they are competing for the same tourist dollars, look out for one another. There are two cases that I can think of that makes me think that.
The owner of Wally's, Bernie's Beach Bar and others, Al Fleury, has said that they are friends with the other business owners on the Boulevard.
Also, my nephew, Patrick Sullivan, owner of Pat's World Famous which is sadly, not on Hampton Beach anymore, said that very same thing.

Restaurants on the Hampton Beach Boulevard are all in the same boat in the Summer. What's that expression, "a rising tide lifts all ships?" If you've ever been to Hampton Beach in the Summer, you know the rising tide of tourists can be challenging, so all the ships help each other survive.
So happy that Farr's Famous Chicken will fly again!
