Governor Charlie Baker just announced that Fenway Park will become the second mass vaccine site for the State of Massachusetts, according to WCVB.

The report goes on to say that Fenway will start giving the vaccine to up to 500 people per day starting on February 1 to residents of Mass in the Phase 1 priority groups.  The site will eventually go up to giving out 1,000 vaccines per day.

CIC Health out of Cambridge is the organization that will be giving out the vaccines.

Governor Baker said that the site will stay open until early April, just before the Red Sox start up the season again, according to the news station.

If you live in Massachusetts and you are getting the vaccine, why not go to one of the most historic places in the entire world.  There will be plenty of things there to distract you if you are a little nervous.  When I've gone to Fenway for something other than a baseball game, they usually have the dugouts accessible.  To sit in the place where all the great players sat at one time in their career is thrilling to me!

This story reminded me of one of the greatest commercials that I have ever witnessed in my life.  2020 was full of lots of awful things, however, this ad came out in 2020 and it's the greatest!  It's for the Hyundai Sonata and it features John Krasinski, Chris Evans, Rachel Dratch and the one and only, David Ortiz.  I just re-watched it for the 1,000th time - now, all day, I'll be saying, "This is a GHOST CAAAH!"
