Fireworks and Flaming Drumsticks Mean ’80s Tribute Band ‘Rosie’ is Back for a Free Outdoor Concert in Dover
We've been waiting all summer! Let me introduce you to the New Hampshire-based band Rosie, just in case you haven't heard of them yet. When it comes to '80s tribute band rockers that have been Shark in the Park series regulars for some 15 years now, these guys are it.
This trio takes the stage no matter where they are with passion, excitement, and an energy that draws you into the greatest generation of music. The '80s is truly the last generation of music with mass appeal, and Rosie know this and rocks it every time with the songs you know and love.
When I spoke with them about returning, they said they wouldn't have it any other way. They plan to go bigger then ever before since this pandemic minimized live, free music, and of course halted it for a time as well. So, having them back with Classic Hits for the Seacoast 102.1 and 105.3 the Shark's free concert series is pure exhilaration.
I'll be honest with you, I don't know what to expect on Wednesday evening, August 10, when this rocking trio takes the stage at 6 o'clock, but I do know that mini-fireworks and flaming drum sticks are always a big part of the show, not to mention the lighting. I'm so excited to see what these guys plan to bring to rock downtown Dover!
While Rosie is crushing it on stage, Dover Dogs hot dog cart will be there, and we'll have free popcorn, gas card giveaways, and more to make this closing night for the 2022 Shark in the Park Free Summer Concert Series powered by Hilltop Fun Center an incredible one.
