Drum roll please, because it's officially Shark in the Park time for 2023.  This free, outdoor summer concert series is a Dover, New Hampshire, tradition which kicks off on Wednesday, July 12 from 6pm-8pm with J Street Extension and the greatest hits we know and love from the '70s, '80s, and '90s.

These guys have developed a community of talented musicians and are ready to rock our Shark in the Park stage, kicking off the summer with live music we'll all be dancing and singing too. Or, perhaps you'd rather kick back and enjoy the summer evening with food and drink.

So if you're ready to be entertained with J Street, here we go with that homegrown band originally out of Tilton, New Hampshire, who have been performing for over 15 years.  It all happens at Henry Law Park in downtown Dover, where people arrive at around 5pm to set up blankets and chairs for a rock-and-roll evening. The six-piece J Street will take the stage at 6pm.

Of course, The Shark will be there with giveaways, including tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Gillette. The Dover Dogs hot dog cart returns as well. Animals are also welcome, including the goats that enjoyed hanging out last year.

Here's a list of the Shark in the Park 2023 bands:

Thanks to the Dover Chamber of Commerce and its Cochecho Arts Festival for letting our Shark in the Park free summer concert series take over the stage on Wednesday evenings, sponsored by Hilltop Fun Center.
