Flu Shuts Down Entire NH School

According to an WMUR-TV report, an ENTIRE elementary school in Washington, NH has been closed due to an outbreak of the flu.

Apparently, over half the teachers and workers there are ill.

I am just 48 hours away from getting my flu shot for the 2019-2020 season and I'll be freaking out until that needle hits my left arm.

I cannot imagine missing Thanksgiving on account of influenza. It's my favorite Holiday!

This is a great idea for the people of Washington, NH as the virus will be somewhat contained and the shut down should work as a quarantine.

I know that my nephews all have Wednesday off anyway, so this is a section of the school year that I playfully refer to as 'Candy and Games'.

The day or two before a vacation is usually a time to watch a couple movies and relax a bit. What a perfect time to enact this quarantine.

Hopefully the residents of Washington feel better soon.
