.... in a good way!

Rob Gronkowski, or Robby as I call him, is one of my favorite football players of all time.  Seriously, Gronk wins at living life.  He is one of the happiest people on TV, or at least appears to be.

According to an article from USA Today, Gronk announced to Registered Nurse Mandy Mueske of Tampa, Florida that she was going to the Superbowl!  Mandy's colleagues nominated her to go, which I think is the best part!

Train and I talked about this on the show this morning and I gotta say, the pirates accent is a little rough, but he's GRONK and that's a big part of his charm.  If you missed it, you can hear the audio on our podcast of his announcement to Mandy, courtesy of Sportskind, via USA Today:

How awesome is this?  Truly, our medical workers across the country deserve a little fun, that's for sure!  Especially those who are big Bucs fans!  For all that they've been through during the pandemic, they deserve to have a little fun.

This Sunday is going to feel like a little bit of normalcy.  My little family is going to all be gathered around the chips and dip, chili and chicken wings.  We are going to be hoping and praying that Tom Brady takes home another Superbowl ring.  As Pats fans, we know what that is going to feel like for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans like this Nurse, Mandy.  May she have the time of her life!
