Gas prices are falling lately and I am LOVING it.

According to Gas Buddy, a gallon of regular gas is $2.03 at the Irving station where I get my gas.  Prices haven't been that low in about 15 years, according to the U. S. Average.

I remember my father complaining when I was a kid about gas prices.  He said if it gets up to .50 cents a gallon, he wasn't going to drive anymore  (yup... that's a loooooong time ago!)  - a threat he didn't mean, of course.  We all say that, but really what can we do about gas prices?  It bugs me that "they" have such control over my wallet.  If a gallon of gas went up to $5.00 per gallon or 6 or 7 or 8, I'd have to pay it.  I have to get to my job, I have to go to the grocery store, I have, well more like I want to, go see my son, my sisters and brothers, so I'll pay at the pump whatever they're asking.

On the other hand, I am choosing to have a car.  I could walk everywhere or take public transportation or Uber, I suppose, but if gas prices are that high, the fare will be high too!

For now, I'll keep my car and ride this wave of $2.03 and hope to see it go down even further!
