General Robinson is a 1981 UNH Graduate and the first woman to lead a major combatant command in the history of the U.S. Armed Forces.

General Robinson's very decorated career began in the ROTC program at UNH. She then entered the Air Force which began a 30 plus year military career.

In 2016, Gen. Robinson took over as commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command.

I'm sure General Robinson finished just a tad higher in the voting for this years speaker than myself, and I understand why. Her military accomplishments do read a little longer than my radio ones, but a note to UNH officials..if the General can't make it for whatever reason, I'll be in the area that weekend to fill in.
