A man charged with trying to rob a Hampton credit union on Monday may have also held up the Northeast Credit Union in Lee.

Hampton Police said Eric Mohan, 47, of Manchester was taken into custody Monday afternoon in front of the Service Federal Credit Union on Lafayette Road around 2:40 p.m., and is being held on a felony level offense for robbery.

He will be arraigned on Tuesday in Rockingham County Superior Court at 1 p.m..

Hampton Police asked anyone with information on the robbery to call the department at 603-929-4444, or Crimeline for the Hamptons at 603-929-1222.

Connection to Lee Credit Union Holdup?

Mohan may also be the person who held up the Northeast Credit Union on Route 125 in Lee on Tuesday. The suspect in an image released by Lee Police wore a surgical mask.

Lee Police posted on their Facebook page Monday that the person responsible for the Northeast Credit Union was apprehended by the FBI. FBI spokeswoman Kristen M. Setera told Seacoast Current that the agency would not discuss if the cases were connected.
