Lebanon, Maine recently had a birthday as it was on June 17th, 1767 that the Governor of Massachusetts stated that an area in what would soon become the State of Maine be 'erected into a town by the name of Lebanon'.

So the town has decided to throw a birthday bash lasting four days from July 1-4.

There will be trolley tours telling of the town's history as well as many other events.

Happy 250th Lebanon from the Shark!
