Here’s the COVID-19 Case Count for NH, ME, MA on March 27, 2020
The numbers are still on the rise.
As of Friday, March 27, here are the latest number of coronavirus cases for New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.
WMUR reports: New Hampshire COVID-19 cases: 158
Live Science reports: Maine - COVID-19 cases: 168
According to Mass.Gov, Massachusetts COVID-19 cases: 2417
There are still many questions with this virus. For instance, if you are an essential employee and you've had COVID-19 symptoms, when should you be able to come back to work? There is very little information on that question. However, I did find information from the CDC talking about Healthcare workers.
According to an article from the CDC, if you haven't been tested, here are some guidelines for returning to work:
Non-test-based strategy. Exclude from work until
- At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and,
- At least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared
