Huge Boston Water Main Break Causes Street Flood and Car To Fall In Sink Hole
HUGE water main break in Boston caused cars to become almost completely submerged and one to fall in to a sink hole. Man covers are coming off and it may take all day to clean up, according to WCVB.
The break is on Harrison Avenue, between E Berkeley and Randolph streets.
This may be another silver lining of the pandemic situation we are in. Traffic in that area is usually difficult to say the least, but many people are working from home, so at least the traffic may be slower than usual.
I remember when I worked at a Real Estate office and my team and I were responsible for over 800 apartments. There were times when we had a water main break and man, oh man, that was just terrible. Most of the people living in the apartment were great about the whole thing because they realized there was really nothing they could do but wait.
