Major ‘Sail Portsmouth’ Announcement Exclusive Audio

Jerry Gulley, spokesperson and business developer for the Piscataqua Maritime Commission had a MAJOR announcement on today's show concerning this year's 'Sail Portsmouth Festival'.

The Shark is the OFFICIAL RADIO STATION for 'Sail Portsmouth' 2019!

The Tall Ships are set to sail into Portsmouth on Thursday August 1st and The Shark will proudly be 'THE FLAGSHIP RADIO STATION'!

The one true Flagship of this year's festival is without a doubt The USCGC Eagle.

The 295-foot Barque Eagle is the flagship of the U.S. Coast Guard. She serves as a training vessel for cadets at the Coast Guard Academy and candidates from the Officer Candidate School. The Eagle is the only active-duty sailing vessel in America's military, and one of only two commissioned sailing vessels, along with the USS Constitution. - United States Coast Guard Academy
