Man Walks Into Open Basement Cellar [VIDEO]

There's a saying that the difference between comedy and tragedy is...... if I get a papercut, that's tragedy, but if you walk into an open basement cellar, that's comedy. I've often sworn by this saying, yet after watching this, I will admit, it's not quite as funny as I thought it might be. The guy suffered some injuries to his head, but my take away is the reaction of the guy sitting next to the open door as all of this unfolds. Could he be any less inclined to lift a finger to help, or shout a warning? Life in the big city I guess.
