
A Mix of Snow and Rain This Weekend for New Hampshire
It looks like New Hampshire is getting some snow this weekend.
Snow will start at about 5:30 - 6am on Saturday morning and go through about 10am, Dover could see 2-4" of the white stuff, according to the weather app for the Dover, NH area. But you know that Spring snow doesn't last.
Sunday looks like rain starting just after 8:30am through early afternoon. Clouds for the afternoon and more rain expected.

This is how it goes in the Spring in New England. We have nice days, then it turns freezing again. Any snow that happens in the Spring though will soon be gone.
Remember the April Fools Storm in New England?
Can you believe it was 28 years ago almost, in 1997, when a storm dumped, in some parts of New England, three feet of snow on the ground.
According to WCVB.com, during the heaviest snow, Boston was getting three inches per hour. The total when all was said and done was 25.4 inches. All that snow was mixed with rain, so it was heavy and wet causing all kinds of problems with power outages.
At the time, Massachusetts Governor William Weld declared a state of Emergency.
New Hampshire wasn't affected as much. According to WMUR, most of the snow fell in the Commonwealth, but New Hampshire still got wacked with several inches of heavy snow.
We are not out of the woods yet.
For the love of everything that is holy, do NOT put those shovels away yet. That is a a cue to Mother Nature to dump more of the white stuff on us.
