NESN’s Tom Caron On The Tragic Death of Nick Cafardo

The world of Boston sports is still reeling from the sudden loss of a very well known and highly respected baseball writer, Nick Cafardo. He was a colleague of Tom Caron's at NESN for over fifteen years. Tom's heartfelt words of tribute to Nick are posted here.

One of the most well respected guys I've ever really met in this business, it's hard to be in this business and have everybody like you. There's a lot of people who get on each other's nerves in a press box in covering games and competing.

 

EVERYBODY loved Nick. It was amazing how he could write a tough column on a ball player and that guy would still like Nick and respect him.
