Olympic athlete Jessica Parratto’s favorite place for a sandwich and macaroni salad is Duston’s Market in Dover, New Hampshire, according to NBCBoston.com.

If you’ve ever done any training or just a few laps in the water, for some reason, it makes you wicked hungry. There has to be some sort of physical reason for this, but I’m no doctor. I just know that every time I’ve gotten out of the water, I want a cheeseburger.  Jessica wants a sandwich and pasta.  I get you, girl.

I wonder if Jessica ever goes for the wonderful bakery items that are on the left side of the market as you walk in?  I usually look at them, and depending on the day, I can either say, "Please give me two whoopie pies and a carrot cake cupcake," or I can walk away.  Duston's is one of the best bakeries in town.

You may already know (or have surmised) that Jessica is from Dover, New Hampshire. She was born to parents Mike and Amy, who are swim coaches, so she must have had an early introduction to the water.  Jessica also has an older sister Melissa, who is, you guessed it, also a swimmer. It’s in their blood.

Jessica isn’t the first Olympian that Mike Parratto has trained.  He also trained swimmer Jenny Thompson, also from Dover, New Hampshire.  Jenny is the most decorated American female in Olympic history, with 12 medals, eight Gold, three Silver and one Bronze, according to osopm.org (no pressure Jessica....).

The family trained at the Jenny Thompson Pool in Dover when the weather was nice (side note, should the pool now be called the Thompson/Parratto pool?).

Jessica, after you get back from Paris, let's go to Duston's.  You can have the sandwich. I'm going for the whoopie pie.

Good luck, girl!  The Garrison City and all of New Hampshire loves you!
