New Restaurant Proposed For Vacant Theater In Portsmouth

The old Jerry Lewis theater complex could be the new home of a Tuscan Kitchen restaurant.

Plans filed to the city of Portsmouth call for the space to be occupied by a Tuscan Kitchen restaurant, market and cafe. The plan also calls for outdoor seating space.

Tuscan Kitchens has a location in Salem, so if approved, this would be their second location in the Granite State.

It would be nice to see that property thrive once again. Like many of you reading this, I spent many hours in the Jerry Lewis complex watching the movies of my youth. It's sad to see the building shuttered as I drive by.
