It doesn't matter how bad the Jets are, as long as Rex Ryan is coach of that team the Patriots will never win easy. Let's hope this is Rex's last year in the AFC East.

I'm not John Madden (although I eat like him), but there's something about Rex Ryan's schemes that give Brady fits. Combine that with a young and inexperienced offensive line and it makes for a long day at the office for the quarterback.

Brady spent most of the game on his back. Thankfully the Patriots defense continues to make plays and keep them in games when the offense is struggling.

It also helps when the refs make bizarre calls. How about the measurement in the 4th quarter? It looked like it was 4th and inches for the Patriots and then the ref signaled for a first down. Huh?

And then to put the icing on the Jets cake, Ryan challenged the spot; lost and lost a timeout with it. Weird stuff, but totally Jets.

Without Jamie Collins interception, and the big sack on 3rd down that resulted in a missed field goal, the Patriots would not have won the game. Another gritty performance by the defense.

With the win the Patriots wrapped a 1st round bye in the playoffs. One more win and they wrap up home field advantage throughout!

I enjoy watching Rex Ryan's facial expressions when the Patriots win, but I've had enough heart attacks during the game. Please go coach somewhere else Rex!
