'Larry's Clam Bar' is on the market for 1.2 million.

Larry's Clam Bar opened in 1961, and apparently last year was the last season for the current owners. I'm sad to hear this news.

Larry's was a must stop for me at least once a year for the 15 or so. I never ventured far from my usual order of fried clams and onion rings, that's probably because I was never disappointed.

I actually found the place by accident as I made the mistake of heading south on Rt.125 on a summer Sunday afternoon and I had to pull over to keep my head together because the traffic was so bad. But isn't that how you find a lot of cool places?

If you have the cash, here's the listing from the Masiello Group.The listing says it's pretty much a turn-key for anyone who wants to keep it a restaurant.
