Thursday, February 13, 2025 has brought about an 4" of snow and rain mix.  After that storm moves out, the wind is going to pick up, according to WMUR.  We may have wind gusts up to 45 MPH.

I guess 18" of snow, rain and ice wasn't enough.

Tomorrow, Valentine's Day, will see nothing as far as precipitation goes, however, because of the intense wind expected, there may be power outages.

WMUR reports that the wind could bring down tree branches and blow around any unsecured objects, like that recycling bin you haven't brought back in yet.

With wind like that, if you have lighter cars, you need to be careful driving in those conditions as well.

Sports Cars Shouldn't Be on NH Roads in Intense Wind

I have an Audi.  (I know, it's fancy, but I had to get it because I never really had a fancy car)  That Audi is all over the road when the wind blows.

The wind, WMUR says, will drop down after Friday night, but then, after the big one of Saturday into Sunday that is expected to bring in over a foot and a half of snow, the wind could kick up again to 40-50 MPH.

This is a REAL New Hampshire Winter

I have to admit, I do like that we are finally getting a real Winter in New Hampshire.  I have been concerned over the past few years when we had high temps in February.

However, I think I have had enough of the cold.  I don't mind the snow or the rain, but the cold is what is getting to me.
