There have been lots of celebrity sightings in Wolfeboro, NH, and the residents of this sleepy little town are rather chill about it. Maybe that is one of the many reasons that celebs flock here in the summer.

According to travelandleisure.com, on any given day you might spot Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, or NBA star Dwyane Wade and his actress wife, Gabrielle Union. Looks like their son Zaire will be attending Brewster Academy.

Maybe we will catch Mr. and Mrs. Wade at one of the games this year.

Tons of celebrities make the country’s “oldest summer resort” one of their favorite destinations.

The town of Wolfboro is like stepping back in time, to when things in life were simpler.  You can enjoy the water glistening off Lake Winnipesaukee, pick a hiking trail, rent a kayak or a jet ski, or just take in a sunset, according to travelandleisure.com. The article states that the town of Wolfboro is home to 6,000 residents  but those numbers rise to 30,000 in the summer months as people enjoy the sights along Main Street and the waters of Lake Winnipesaukee.

The town still retains its charm despite masks being mandatory and hand sanitizer placed everywhere.  It’s a place suspended in time where you can almost forget the problems being plagued by our country and maybe see a celebrity or two.

Stop by Brewster beach, or maybe head up the Cotton Valley Rail Trail, but bring snacks because it’s an 11-mile hike.  There are shorter ones if you prefer.

The town looks straight out of a Hollywood movie set and the residents see so many celebs that they don’t make a big deal of it.  Both are part of the draw for famous people to the area.

They can be just like any of the rest of us in Wolfboro.  So stop by and have some ice cream and forget your troubles.
