‘Race For Winter’ Snowmobile Event is On in Fremont

They've had to bring in water to make sure the event goes on.

For the first time in a long time, the organizers of the Race for Winter event have had to bring in water.

Over forty thousand people usually show for this event presented by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association

For a lot of years on Columbus Day, Brookfield Pines Farm in Fremont has been hosting this snowmobiling event.

Organizers are bringing in close to two tractor trailers' worth of water to fill the area that is usually fed by brooks, but the drought has taken it's toll.
