Red Sox Win It All, But How Much $ Did Vegas Pay?

Time to tally up my henscratch list of Las Vegas Sports Bets to see what the total haul will be on my next trip!

Keep in mind this money isn't mine, HOWEVER, I'm the only person in a fairly large group of enthusiastic gamblers that travels to Vegas every year and I get very excited when my friends and family members hit it big.*

The two $75 bets at the top of this list were placed on 'The Evil Empire' and became null and void when our beloved hometown team wiped them out in four games in the ALDS.

The two Red Sox bets were both for $50. Their victory over The Houston Astros in the ALCS paid off at 5-1. The bettor won $250 and also receives his initial wager bringing that ticket to a grand total of $300.

The $50 bet on the Sox to win The World Series? 10-1 ! That means the bettor won $500 and will receive a grand total of $550.

These tickets are usually valid for at least 90 days after they hit, therefore I'll be able to cash them when I return to Sin City in 39 days (not that I'm counting).

*My excitement has very little to do with the 10% tip that all the winners give me**
