The driver careened into a cement barrier at the Dover toll booth Monday morning.

Justyn Tyndaal was driving northbound on the Spaulding Turnpike Monday morning. According to Fosters.com, New Hampshire State Police from Troop A responded to the scene of the single vehicle accident at 2:10am. While the incident is still under investigation, it was reported the driver lost control of the vehicle. Afterwards, hit a concrete barrier while attempting to travel through an E-ZPass lane at the Dover toll plaza.

By the time the vehicle came to a rest, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox had become engulfed in flames. The driver had been extricated from the vehicle, and Tyndaal had reportedly sustained serious injuries. He was transported to the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

First reported by Fosters, three northbound lanes at the toll plaza were closed for approximately two hours as troopers investigated. If you have information related to the crash, you are asked call Trooper Eric Call at (603) 223-8490.
