Just in time for Thanksgiving travel Rollins Road has been reopened by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

The road between Dover and Rollinsford was closed on Nov. 4 near Wentworth Greenhouses after a portion of the road collapsed leaving a gaping hole that needed to be repaired.

"Yay! Rollins Road is open again! No detour, come visit us any old way you choose," Wentworth Greenhouses posted on their Facebook page. The business was open throughout the work as local traffic was allowed through the detour.

The work took a bit longer to complete as the DOT expected the work to be done by Friday Nov. 19. It was finished on Tuesday afternoon.
