According to a report in Fosters, Rye Beach ranks 2nd only to Boston when it comes to expensive places to live in New England.

The Foster's report cites PropertyShark who compiled the data by using all residential transactions closed between January 1 and November 22, 2019 in the 6 New England states.  They found that Rye Beach had a median sale price of $1.9 million.

NH's second most expensive zip in 2019 was New Castle’s 03854, at a median sale price of $1.2 million, ranking it as the 16th most expensive in New England and tying with Greenwich, Connecticut and Lexington, Massachusetts.

This beauty is on sale in Rye for just under $6.5 Million.  16 rooms, 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and views of the Atlantic that you'll pay about $35,000 per year for in real estate taxes. Presented by: Barbara Dunkle of BEAN GROUP Presented by: Barbara Dunkle of BEAN GROUP

I love looking at real estate.  Truth be told, I've passed the real estate exam and obtained my license here in NH 3 times.  Never went in to it full time because..... radio, but maybe when I retire, I'll give it a whirl..... AGAIN.  Also, it takes a lot of work to be a successful real estate agent.  You have to get your face/name out there all the time, follow up, etc., etc.  It's not as easy as people think.  A good agent really does earn that fat check at the closing.
