Sail Portsmouth Is Looking For Volunteers

The Sail Portsmouth Festival is August 10-14 and could use your help.

A few dozen volunteers are needed to help out the festival that begins this Wednesday.

The Festival includes day sails aboard Harvey Gamage, tours of the Oliver Hazard Perry as well as a boat parade.

Volunteer duties include crowd control, selling merchandise, greeting visitors and more.

If you volunteer, you'll get a free tour of the Perry, a t-shirt and an invite to a cookout featuring exhibitors and volunteers after the event on Sunday evening.
