If you grew up in New England, you probably remember the original Seabrook Greyhound Park.

It opened around 1973 and ceased greyhound racing in 2008 when greyhound racing ended in NH, according to a Newburyportnews.com article. There is a casino and poker room and off-track betting there now.

The news site stated that a Nevada-based company recently bought the property and was upgrading, expanding and polishing it up.

Another article by newburyportnews.com reported that The Greyhound Casino and Tavern opened in April as part of the renovations.

That article stated that "the second phase of construction is expected to be completed in September and will include repurposing the track’s grandstand."
