Shark in the Park Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series is Back to Rock New Hampshire for 2023
Are you ready to sing, dance, and rock out to five incredible local and regional bands? For 20 years, your Classic Hits for the Seacoast 102.1 and 105.3 The Shark has been all about cool music for a nice, free, family-friendly concert. And now we're back with our summer 2023 line-up of bands singing our favorite songs from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, all with a different feel and sound.
It all happens at Henry Law Park in downtown Dover, New Hampshire, where people start arriving around 5pm to set up blankets, bring food and drinks, set up chairs, and get ready for live music from 6-8pm on five Wednesdays during the summer. The Dover Dogs hotdog cart will be there again this year, as well as free popcorn from the Strand. Lots of gift card giveaways are also in the works, as well as concert tickets.
Oh, and of course animals are welcome, and that includes the goats that enjoyed hanging out last year.
Here's a list of the Shark in the Park 2023 bands:
- J Street Extension, July 12
- High and Dry Duo, July 19
- The Big Picture, July 26
- Key Elements Band, August 2
- Rosie, August 9
Whether you choose to sit on the lawn or use the built-in amphitheater seating, the sound is perfect. And yes, dancing is allowed, and always happens right in front the stage. Thanks to the Dover Chamber of Commerce and Cochecho Arts Festival for letting our Shark in the Park free summer concert series take over the stage on Wednesday evenings, sponsored by Hilltop Fun Center.
