Don Orsillo, the voice of the Boston Red Sox on NESN, is leaving after this season.

As if this season couldn't get any worse. Now we're losing our beloved 'play-by-play' guy.

According to multiple media outlets in Boston the decision was likely made by NESN and not Don Orsillo. Orsillo is on the last year of a contract he signed back in 2012. Perhaps the network thought he would ask for too much money during negotiations. Orsillo dabbles in MLB postseason baseball too working TBS.

Either way, the Red Sox or NESN have yet to confirm the story so this has a small chance of being false.

Don has been with the team for 15 years and has provided many good memories of the team's success over the years. As well as some of the wackier moments at Fenway.

Who can forget the piece of pizza throwing incident?
