There Were Five Crashes On The Spaulding Turnpike This Morning

Solar glare and distracted driving are being blamed.

Just before 9 this morning, NH State troopers responded to accidents near and on the General Sullivan Bridge.

Five vehicles were involved in crash #1, the second crash involved 3 cars, while two vehicles were involved in the final three vehicle mishaps.

According to State Police, the causes of the crashes were likely driver distraction and solar glare. One person suffered minor injuries.

What a terrible way to start a day. You've got to be paying attention on that drive. Yes the sun can be blinding, that's why you slow down and NEVER look away from the road.
