Throwback Thanksgiving Thursday: The Butt Fumble

On Thanksgiving 2012, in front of a New York home crowd of 79,000 and 20 million watching at home, the Patriots destroyed the Jets 49-19 in part thanks to the Jetsiest Jets play of all time: The Butt Fumble.

I remembering saying aloud to myself, "Did that just happen? I should slow down on the red wine."

My father in law informed me that it did in fact actually happen. Mark Sanchez ran into his lineman's big ass after a broken play and dropped the ball in the process leading to a Patriots recovery, and TD run back by Steve Gregory (of all people).

The game was full of Jetsish plays. An awesome Thanksgiving gift from the NFL.
